Get ready for Christmas in Bodmin...

The festive season is finally upon us, so grab your coats, boots and scarves and head into town for the fantastic lineup of Christmas events taking place from 26th November, when Bodmin will officially be welcoming Christmas to town!

Bodmin Lights Up 2021

That’s right! Bodmin will be all lit up for Christmas on Friday, 26th November - but that’s not all! Throughout the day, there will be a number of free, accessible events for everyone to enjoy taking place in the town centre.

See the elves in training at the Old Library, have fun with a Nativity photo booth and enjoy plenty of festive entertainment and performances.

Between 5pm-7pm, Santa will be in his sleigh ready to greet the children of Bodmin on Honey Street and Church Square, with help from the Bodmin Lions, so make sure the little ones have their Christmas lists all written up before then!

Music from Bodmin Town Band and carols around the tree will really help everyone get into the spirit of Christmas, before the lights switch on at 6.30pm with Neil Caddy from Pirate FM and late night shopping until 7pm.

Christmas Tree Festival

What a wonderful sight it is to see so many Christmas trees lit up each year. The Christmas tree festival will take place at St Petroc’s Church from 10.30am-4.30pm between 8th and 18th December, so make sure you have a wander into town to catch a glimpse of this truly wonderful annual event.

Christmas Concerts

Between the 9th and 19th December, Christmas concert season will be at St Petroc’s Church. To find out more about the concerts go to bodminchurch.com

Christmas carols, Lanivet Parish Church

Sing your heart out to your favourite Christmas carols at Lanivet Parish Church on Monday, 20th December at 7pm. Mulled wine and mince pies will also be enjoyed!
