Take on the Camel Trail this spring

Spring is officially here, and it feels SO refreshing!

Our green spaces are finally becoming… well, green again…and those beautiful quaint little flowers are beginning to appear in hedgerows, fields and gardens.

So what could be better than to get outside and truly feel the benefits of spending time in nature?

Luckily for us here in Bodmin, we have the Camel Trail right on our doorstep, presenting the perfect opportunity to get outdoors with your family or friends, enjoy a little light exercise (unless you fancy tackling the whole 18 miles of the Trail) and explore our beautiful local area.

Snail’s Pace Cafe

Need some fuel for a long bike ride or walk ahead? Stop off at Snail’s Pace Cafe, open from 18th March, for hot drinks and delicious homemade cakes - the perfect post or pre-cycle pick-me-up!

Wendfordbridge

This historic bridge lies just 6 miles away from Bodmin. This part of the Trail is beautiful, taking in the glorious sights of Bodmin Moor.

Bodmin Jail

Bodmin Jail is always worth a visit. Discover the history of Bodmin and its people, and grab a bite to eat or a drink to fuel your walk or cycle along the Camel Trail!

Discover nature

Exploring the local area and immersing yourself in nature is easy with the Camel Trail on your doorstep. Follow a pretty stream and marvel at the beautiful countryside along the way. Perhaps see if you can spot any birds, insects and other wildlife along the way!
