'Winter Warmer' supports the community

‘Winter Warmer’ has provided a warm space and much more since October 2022.

Every Friday morning from 9.30am at St Petroc’s Parish Centre, next to Priory Park, people can spend time together, enjoy hot food and drinks and take away meals all for free.

‘Winter Warmer’ is one of the ways Rev’d Elaine Munday, Pioneer Minister for the Bodmin Team Ministry, offers friendship and support to those living in Bodmin.

The six-month project was set to finish at the end of March, when funding runs out, however, Rev’d Elaine plans to continue the weekly get together.

The name, of course, will have to change as the warmer weather comes our way! Whatever the name, a very warm welcome will be extended to everybody on Friday mornings for a long time to come.

Rev'd Elaine told Bodmin Life: "Part of my role as pioneer minister is to support people in Bodmin and it's great to be in a position to do this through funding and donations from individuals and the churches in the Bodmin Team Ministry."
