St Pirantide celebrations in Bodmin!

Bodmin is the place to be to celebrate St Piran's Day, with events taking place on Friday, 4th March, the day before the traditional day of celebrations.

There will be a traditional parade through town, starting at the Old Library in Lower Bore Street at 11am, led by the mayor of Bodmin and to the accompaniment of a Cornish piper, to Mount Folly where Trelawny will be sung with the loudest chanting of 'Oggy, Oggy, Oggy' in Cornwall!

Local school children will give presentations at St Petroc's Church before eating a pasty lunch. Everyone is invited to the celebration, so make sure you're in town on the 4th March to enjoy some proper Cornish fun!

How will you be celebrating St Piran's Day this year? Got a delicious pasty recipe that you'd be willing to share with the masses? We'd love to hear from you!
