Summer nights - The events and festivals bringing all the great vibes to Cornwall this summer

Here in Cornwall, there is great scope to enjoy a number of different events, from buzzing live music events in pubs and bars, to amazing festivals by the beach.

We’ve focused on some of our top events from the local area that are bringing fantastic musicians, great food and drink and immaculate vibes to the area this summer. Don’t forget to book tickets as quickly as possible to ensure you don’t miss out!


Seaview Farm Shop

Bringing summer to a close this August, Seaview Farm Shop’s ‘End of Summer Sunset Spectacular’ will showcase the best from the local area, from great food and produce, to banging tunes from the popular Mad Dog Mcrea and spectacular views of the coastline at Port Isaac. And don’t forget about their other live music events throughout the season, such as Joey The Lips, who will be performing on 4th August.

Cornwall Folk Festival - Cornwall Folk Festival - Looking for some top quality music in a quintessentially Cornish setting? Look no further than Cornwall Folk Festival, which takes place over the August bank holiday weekend in Wadebridge.

The town centre event runs over five days, with headline concerts, a dance, and multiple showcases of local talent.

Top Cornish ceilidh band KRELYS open on Thursday 24th August, with supergroup Gigspanner Big Band the following day. Other acts include the amazing Kinnaris Quintent on the Saturday, and Seth Lakeman on the Sunday.

Daytime Saturday to Monday, the festival hangs outside at its FAR stage with back-to-back local acts, where proceedings close on Monday 28th with Padstow’s finest The Stowes. Elsewhere the town’s pubs, cafes and streets host a myriad of performers and dancers.
